MiniYou is run by Mike McGregor in Melbourne, Australia.
What we keep
Your email address and the time you joined. That is all we keep about you personally. We do not ask for your name and the site has no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels.
To stop the form being flooded, the site also keeps a one-way code made from your connection and the time of each try. It cannot be turned back into your address, and it is cleared out after a day.
How the page is used
The site uses Microsoft Clarity, a free tool that shows us how people use the page: where they click, how far they scroll, and roughly what device and country they visit from. Clarity sets two small cookies in your browser (_clck and _clsk) to tell one visit from another. What you type into the email box is masked, so Clarity does not see your address. Clarity is run by Microsoft, which stores the data outside Australia and explains how it handles it in its privacy statement.
If you would rather not be counted, block clarity.ms in your browser or with a content blocker, and the page works exactly the same.
Why
To send you one email when MiniYou opens. We will not sell or share your address, and we will not use it for anything else without asking you first.
